Ajax EN54 GlandBox – Enclosure extension for clean cable entry

The Ajax EN54 GlandBox is a specially designed enclosure extension for the EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller, enabling clean, safe, and standards-compliant side cable entry. It was designed for professional installations where flush-mounted wiring is not feasible – for example, in historic buildings, listed properties, or temporary commercial facilities.

As part of Ajax Systems' EN54 ecosystem, the GlandBox integrates seamlessly into the design of the fire alarm control panel, preserving the clean, high-quality appearance of the installation.

Clean cable routing with a system

The GlandBox enables neat surface cabling without compromising the EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller's housing. Sixteen side cutouts allow for flexible cable routing. Integrated red cable glands ensure secure cable fixation and sealing, guaranteeing a protected connection.

Quick and easy assembly

Installing the EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller in the GlandBox takes only a few minutes. The enclosure extension is ready for immediate use; no additional settings, tools, or equipment are required. Thanks to the integrated fasteners, the CIE mounting plate can also be easily screwed in place after installation. All necessary mounting hardware is included.

For routing cables that are not concealed in the wall. There are four slots on each side.

• Cable gland diameter: up to 20 mm

Cable glands are not included.

• Recesses for drilling

The drill bit is fixed in the recess so it doesn't move during drilling. We recommend using a hole saw for plastic with a diameter of up to 20 mm.

• Sabotage protection: Sabotage contact

The perforated section of the GlandBox is used for the tamper contact of the EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller, which is triggered when the CIE is installed in the GlandBox. An Ajax system sends error messages if an attempt is made to detach the GlandBox from the surface or remove the CIE from the mounting plate.

The spirit level allows you to check the tilt angle of the housing. The intersection of the two lines marks the center of the CIE, and the UP button marks the upper point.
