The second life of an old wired alarm system
It often happens that a wired alarm system, while still able to protect your property, is clearly outdated. An upgrade with Ajax doesn't force you to abandon your current equipment. Instead, you have the opportunity to build a modern, sophisticated security system based on your existing wired alarm system.
The AJAX MultiTransmitter is an integration module with 18 connection points for third-party detectors to the Ajax security system. To protect against tampering and removal, the MultiTransmitter is equipped with two tamper protection devices. It is powered by 100 V to 240 V AC mains electricity and can also be operated with a 12 V backup battery. It also supplies the connected detectors with 12 V.
The MultiTransmitter operates as part of the Ajax security system and is connected to the hub via the secure "Jeweller" radio communication protocol. The hub's transmission range is up to 2000 meters (open field). In the event of detected jamming or interference, the event "High jamming signals within the Jeweller frequencies" is transmitted to the security service's monitoring center and system users.
The device connects to the hub and is configured via Ajax apps on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows. All alarms and user events are reported via push notifications, SMS, and calls, if enabled. The Ajax security system can be connected to the security service's monitoring center.
Note: The transmitter is not compatible with ocBridge Plus, uartBridge and third-party security control units.
