CO detector with built-in relay contact
The AMS S/200-C (12V) carbon monoxide detector alerts to CO concentrations as low as 50 ppm, early enough to allow for timely action. Carbon monoxide is invisible, odorless, and deadly. CO is produced by the incomplete combustion of organic compounds, such as fossil fuels. Elevated CO concentrations are therefore particularly likely in open fireplaces, gas or oil stoves, defective heating systems, or garages. Insufficient fresh air supply or defective chimneys promote the formation of carbon monoxide. When inhaled, this gas blocks the transport of oxygen in the blood. Fatigue and headaches are early warning signs – higher concentrations can lead to death within minutes!
