The wired motion detector, certified according to "EN Grade 2", is equipped with a passive infrared (PIR) sensor. It detects human-caused heat movements within its detection field and reports each event to the alarm control panel.

Optional PET immunity: For your beloved pet.
Optional "pet immunity" function, individually adjustable in 3 levels: This distinguishes between humans and animals: Moving people are reliably detected, while pets weighing up to 15 kg are ignored. In rare cases, however, a lighter animal may also trigger the detector, for example, if it moves, jumps, or flies close to the detector. The option to configure pet immunity on the detector reduces complexity in planning, installation, and storage.

Technology and installation:
The optimal mounting location is in a corner, approximately 1.80 to 2.40 meters above the floor. An intruder's expected path should be perpendicular to the detector. The viewing angle is approximately 90 degrees, and the detection range (depending on the mounting height) is up to 16 x 16 meters. Thanks to the new spherical lens design, the detector detects even more reliably and offers significantly more uniform coverage. With integrated creep zone protection, the detector has no blind spots and can even detect people directly below its mounting position. The detector's sensitivity is adjusted via jumpers: this determines the number of pulses that must be detected before the alarm relay opens. With its integrated, common resistor combinations, which are configured using jumpers, wiring to the alarm control panel is quick and easy.
