Acoustic detector: Detects broken glass by sound
The ABUS AZGB10000 acoustic glass break detector, certified to "EN Grade 2", allows you to monitor larger window fronts. The detector reacts to the specific sound of breaking glass. The breakage is detected and reported to the alarm control panel. Everyday noises (clinking of drinking glasses, ball hitting window, etc.) do not trigger an alarm.

Technology and optimal mounting location:
For reliable detection, the detector should be pointed directly at the window area being monitored. The area of ​​the pane should be between 30 x 30 cm and 3 x 3 m. The optimal position is approximately 2–3 m from the glass. The maximum distance is up to 8 m (depending on the type and thickness of the glass). The effective detection range may be reduced, for example, with burglar-resistant glass and depending on window furnishings/decorations (curtains, flowers, interior shutters).

Clear status message, quick installation:
The AZGB10000 features an LED indicator that visually signals red (high-frequency trigger), green (low-frequency trigger), and blue (alarm). It operates on a voltage between 9 and 16 V DC. The vibration detector uses standard resistors and jumpers, simplifying wiring to the alarm control panel and tamper protection.
