Description
The Jablotron JA-151STA wireless smoke detector is used for early fire detection in the interiors of residential or commercial buildings. A fire alarm is transmitted to the respective Jablotron 100+ alarm control panel; in addition, the wireless smoke detector alerts on-site via its integrated siren and LED indicator.
The following settings are possible:
Smoke and heat (alarm temperature: 60-65°), smoke or
Heat, just smoke, just
Heat. The wireless smoke detector has an alarm memory function. It is powered by lithium or alkaline batteries (3 x AA 1.5 V) . The JA-151ST-A is assigned an address and it is occupied.

The acoustic alarm will sound in the following cases:
- a fire that is detected by the detector itself
- a fire alarm reported by the system (an alarm triggered by another fire detector)
- a different type of alarm (e.g. a burglar alarm)
- Alarms reported by the system. The areas for which the alarm is displayed can be armed.
The fire alarm contains an optical smoke sensor and a thermal heat sensor. The optical detection works on the light scattering principle. This is highly sensitive to particles contained in dense smoke. The heat sensor, on the other hand, reacts more reliably to fires that quickly generate heat with little smoke.
