12V smoke detector with relay contact
The Jablotron (Indexa) SD-283ST smoke detector features an alarm and tamper output, making it suitable for integration into security systems. Upon detecting smoke or exceeding a temperature threshold, the detector triggers an alarm via its integrated siren, and a relay informs the alarm system. When powered by batteries (3 x 1.5V AA), the detector continues to operate as a standalone smoke detector during a power outage.
