Description
The ABUS MK7350W door/window contact sensor is used to secure doors and windows in conjunction with a wired alarm system. If the magnetic contact is opened by even a few millimeters, this is reported to the alarm control panel, triggering an alarm. The sensor consists of a magnetic contact (reed switch) and a magnet. These are mounted either parallel, end-to-end, or perpendicular to each other – with a maximum distance of 13 mm. In its resting state, the normally closed (NC) door/window contact sensor is in its closed circuit. The MK7350W is suitable for both flush and surface mounting.
