Magnetic contact for door and window security
The ABUS MK1010W opening detector uses a magnetic contact to detect when a window or door is opened and sends this information to the alarm control panel. The detector consists of a magnetic contact (reed switch) and a magnet. If the gap of approximately 8-10 mm, which is set during installation, is increased by opening the window or door, the circuit is interrupted and the alarm is triggered. The MK1010W magnetic contact switch is suitable for both surface and flush mounting. It is dustproof and waterproof. It is certified according to VdS B and VSÖ standards.
