Description
The ABUS MK4200 aluminum door/window contact is a robust magnetic contact for mounting on steel and metal doors. The contact consists of a magnetic reed switch and a magnet, which are mounted parallel to each other. The circuit of this normally closed (NC) door/window contact is closed in its resting state. If the distance between the reed switch and the magnet increases, an alarm is triggered. Thanks to its extremely robust aluminum housing, the contact is protected against damage from being driven over.
