The ABUS RM1000 optical smoke detector detects visible smoke particles and triggers an alarm when a predefined threshold is exceeded. Smoke detectors should be mounted on the ceiling in the center of each room. For comprehensive early fire detection, it is recommended to install one smoke detector in each hallway, stairwell, living room, and bedroom.
