The ABUS RS1000 bolt contact switch is used for monitoring the locking status of doors, gates, safes, etc. The electromechanical contact features a waterproof microswitch and can be recessed into a door frame, for example. When the door is closed, the bolt activates the contact switch. The actuating lever can be individually deformed to ensure contact with a wide variety of bolts. By inserting the cylinder pin into the actuating lever, the bolt contact switch can be mounted to the side of the lock bolt cutout.
