Water alarm with built-in and external sensor

The COOPER 1450-CSA (WM1450S) water detector detects water, other liquids, or moisture by measuring the conductivity between two electrodes. The device is ideal for monitoring storage areas, computer rooms, bathrooms, basements, etc. The water detector can be connected to an alarm control panel via 12 or 24 volts DC and provides early warning of impending flooding, burst pipes, blocked drains, or simply when a specific water level is reached.

How it works:

The water detector can be mounted directly on the floor or on the wall. When floor-mounted, you can choose whether the four built-in sensors should detect water immediately, or whether the alarm should only be triggered when the water level exceeds 6 mm. Furthermore, you can adjust the water detector so that it is not overly sensitive in rooms with consistently high humidity. The response threshold of the WM 1450-CSA is adjustable via the sensitivity control and can therefore also be used for monitoring in damp rooms.
