AJAX "MotionProtect Plus" is a wireless motion detector with a PIR+microwave sensor. It monitors a detection area with a radius of up to 12 meters and is immune to pets, open fireplaces, and air turbulence from heaters or air conditioners. It integrates into the Ajax alarm system via the proprietary Jeweler protocol; the wireless range in open field is up to 1,200 meters. The battery life is up to 7 years.
