RangeExtender for even more range
The AJAX ReX 2 wireless repeater is designed to increase the wireless range and manages communication between registered wireless components and the Hub 2 or Hub 2 Plus alarm control panel. The intelligent signal amplifier allows users to install Ajax detectors at great distances from the control panel, thus ensuring the security of even larger homes and businesses. The tamper-proof housing detects and reports tamper attempts, making the system unassailable.
For reliable communication and support for the specialized Jeweller and Wings wireless protocols , ReX 2 is equipped with four antennas. Jeweller handles the transmission of commands, events, and alarms, while Wings transmits photos. Ajax two-way communication uses polling intervals to synchronize device communication sessions, authentication to prevent fraud, and encryption to protect against data theft.
Enormous performance diversity
- Enormous wireless range of up to 1,800 m in open field. Therefore, it can also be used for larger objects
- Up to 99 (Hub Plus: 149) wireless components possible (AJAX camera detector "MotionCam" is not supported)
Protection against sabotage, malfunctions and failures
- All modules are located within the tamper-proof housing
- Emergency power supply via battery - notification in case of power failure
- Presence monitoring of detectors and components occurs every 12-300 s (adjustable)
- Jamming detection, encrypted communication and protection against deception
- The real-time operating system offers optimal protection against viruses and hacker attacks
